The SCORE Association, known as Counselors to America's Small Business, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. Founded in 1964, SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S.Small Business Administration.

SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.

Do you need some guidance in preparing a business plan? SCORE now has a Business Plan CD for computers available at our office or by mail  

(Send mail requests to SCORE 432, Attn: Business CD; 622 19th Street ; Moline , IL 61265) The CD is filled with numerous tips and some checklists to make sure that nothing is forgotten or overlooked as you begin your journey on the road to building a successful business. The cost of the CD is $15 (or $17 by mail). Checks should be made out to: "SCORE Chapter 432"
